The role

As a Rapid Response Nurse, you’ll need to promptly respond to emergency situations within the hospital. Your duties involve monitoring and assessing patients whose conditions are deteriorating or have shown signs of instability. You’ll collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate the situation, initiate life-saving interventions, and stabilise the patient's condition. You’ll also need to administer medications, provide advanced life support, and assist with urgent procedures. 

To be right for this role, you’ll need to use your clinical expertise and training to respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies. You’ll be able to maintain calm under pressure, use your knowledge and skills to make quick judgement calls, and communicate well with both patients and your team.

Nursing requirements

• NMC registration

• 6 months’ experience within a UK healthcare setting

• Right to work in the UK
