Job title: Paediatric Nurse

Location: Coventry

Salary: £35 - £44 P/H

The role

• Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments specifically designed for paediatric patients

• Monitor vital signs and assess the physical and emotional well-being of children and adolescents

• Educate parents and families on childhood illnesses, growth and development, and preventive care

• Alleviate the fears and anxieties of young patients through empathetic communication and a child-friendly approach

• Create a comforting and supportive environment for paediatric patients and their families

• Collaborate with paediatricians and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans

• Advocate for the best interests of paediatric patients, ensuring they receive age-appropriate care

• Address the unique needs of children with acute or chronic illnesses, disabilities, or special healthcare requirements

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, tracking growth milestones and treatment progress

Nursing requirements

• NMC registration
• 6 months’ experience within a UK healthcare setting
