Job title: Neonatal Nurse

Location: Coventry

Salary: £33 - £48 P/H

The role

• Monitor and assess the vital signs and health of newborn infants

• Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and specialised treatments as needed

• Assist with feeding and ensure proper nutrition for premature or ill infants

• Operate and maintain equipment such as incubators and ventilators in the NICU

• Educate parents on infant care, growth milestones, and any special requirements

• Provide emotional support to both infants and their families during a challenging time

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and adjust individualised care plans

• Document all aspects of care and maintain accurate patient records

• Prioritise infection control and safety measures in the neonatal unit

• Stay current with advances in neonatal nursing through ongoing training and education
