Location: Romford

Salary: £35 - £45 P/H

The role

• Monitor and provide prenatal care to pregnant patients, including conducting regular check-ups and screenings

• Offer guidance on pregnancy nutrition, exercise, and childbirth preparation

• Assist in labour and childbirth, ensuring the safety and well-being of both the mother and baby

• Provide emotional support and pain management techniques during labour

• Educate and support individuals in their choice of birthing options, including home births or hospital births

• Conduct postnatal care, including postpartum check-ups for the mother and newborn

• Offer breastfeeding support and infant care education

• Monitor and address any complications or concerns during pregnancy, labour, or postpartum

• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records

• Advocate for the rights and choices of pregnant patients while prioritising the health and safety of both mother and baby

Nursing requirements

• NMC registration

• 6 months’ experience within a UK healthcare setting

• Right to work in the UK
