Job title: ITU Nurse required for Long Days

Location: Bristol

Salary: £28 - £52 P/H

The role

• Continuously monitor and assess critically ill patients, including vital signs and responses to treatment

• Administer complex medications and interventions according to precise protocols

• Operate and maintain life-saving equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and intravenous lines

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and adjust individualised care plans

• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and initiate emergency procedures as necessary

• Provide emotional support to patients and their families, explaining treatment options and addressing concerns

• Maintain meticulous records of patient care and interventions 

• Prioritise patient safety, infection control, and critical care best practices

• Work under high-stress conditions while maintaining composure, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Nursing requirements

• NMC registration

• 12 months’ NHS experience within a UK healthcare setting

• Right to work in the UK
