Job title: Community Nurse

Location: Lambeth

Salary: £24 - £30 P/H

The role

• Conduct health assessments and screenings within the community

• Provide healthcare education and promote health awareness to individuals and groups

• Administer vaccinations and immunisations

• Monitor and manage chronic conditions, such as diabetes and hypertension

• Offer prenatal and postnatal care to expectant mothers and new mothers

• Conduct home visits to assess living conditions and provide care as needed

• Collaborate with local healthcare providers and organisations to coordinate care

• Advocate for patients' healthcare needs and access to resources

• Provide wound care, medication administration, and basic treatments

• Offer support and counselling to patients and their families

• Keep accurate patient records and documentation

• Respond to emergencies within the community

Nursing requirements

• NMC registration

• 6 months’ experience within a UK healthcare setting

• Right to work in the UK
