The role

As a Cath Lab Nurse, you’ll assist with cardiac catheterisation procedures and various interventions aimed at diagnosing and treating heart conditions. You’ll prepare patients for procedures, monitor their vital signs during the process, and assist cardiologists with catheter insertion, angioplasty, stent placement, and other cardiac interventions. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, administering medications, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Additionally, you’ll provide post-procedure care, closely monitoring patients for complications and collaborating with the healthcare team to facilitate a smooth recovery.

Nursing requirements

• NMC registration

• 6 months’ experience within a UK healthcare setting

• Right to work in the UK
