Scientist Requirements

• Previous experience working in the relevant laboratory is preferable
• Previous experience in a cytogenetics laboratory
• FISH (Fluorescent In Situ Hybridisation) analysis experience essential
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• (HCPC registration is not required)

• Ability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
• Natural problem solver who enjoys analysing samples, identifying blood groups and interpreting results for and liaising with medical staff
