Hospital Based Locum Occupational Therapist

Your World is looking for an experienced Band 6 OT to work within an outstanding Hospital in Yeovil on a locum basis.

You will be joining an exciting and motivated team within a successful Hospital in the fantastic area of Yeovil.

About this this role

• This role will be working within approx. a 360 bedded hospital within the following clinical areas:  neuro, ortho, acute medical, frailty, admission avoidance & reablement
• We are working in a referral-based model across the inpatient areas at present and would be looking for a locum who can work across the acute pathway
• The successful candidate will need to have skills to work with a range of conditions due to the nature of the hospital, the ways OT’s are working and patient need

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a positive attitude towards taking on new challenges and improving their skillset.

As an experienced OT in Yeovil, they will be committed to providing the highest levels of care to patients, providing an experience that contributes to the facility's already sterling reputation. They will understand how to work with patients from all backgrounds, catering to their specific needs with professionalism and confidence at all times.

To take on this OT role, the right candidate must be a fully qualified Occupational Therapist with a degree in OT and a full HCPC registration.

Other requirements include:

• A full HCPC registration
• Previous OT experience in the UK
• OT degree and qualifications
