Band 7 Occupational Therapist

Your World is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 OT for work on a locum basis. You will be joining an outstanding team within a well-known falls service in South East London.

Who are we looking for?

As a Band 7 OT, you will have the knowledge, skills and qualifications to take on the role. You must possess a kind, confident and motivated personality with the ability to communicate to an exceptional standard with both patients and colleagues.

The Falls Team is a multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist, Therapy Assistant practitioners, and a nurse. The aim of the team is to provide rehabilitation and assess patients at risk of falls, identify risk factors and implement treatment plans to address the risk. This will involve working with acute sector, social care, mental health and the voluntary sector. The aim of the team is to promote independence and safety of patients. This will involve visiting patients in their own homes, care homes and leading group Falls prevention exercise classes.

Requirements

• Full OT qualifications
• HCPC registration
• UK Occupational Therapy experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
