B6 Mental Health Occupational Therapist

Your World Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 OT for work on a contract basis. You will be joining an outstanding team within a well-known Hospital in Bulwell. Occupational therapy service provides a quality effective accessible client centred service through tailored packages of care in the most appropriate setting

Roles and responsibilities:

• To provide a specialist occupational therapy service for older adults with mental health needs and adults of any age living with dementia

• The occupational therapy service delivers individual assessments, formulation, specific interventions and evaluations, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team

• To represent and promote the specialist role of occupational therapy, including service planning and development

Who are we looking for?

As a Band 6 OT, you will have the knowledge, skills and qualifications to take on the role. You must possess a kind, confident and motivated personality with the ability to communicate to an exceptional standard with both patients and colleagues.

You will be extremely understanding and able to adapt your methods to each patient's varying requirements. You must be comfortable organising your own schedule as well as working within the Hospital team. 

Requirements

• Full OT qualifications
• HCPC registration
• UK Occupational Therapy experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
